Jon Mathews is a professional grower and landscaper with more than 30 years of experience, he started landscaping at the age of seventeen out of the back of his pickup truck. Today His company Shades of Texas grows, sells, and installs the best quality trees, shrubs, and plants in the greater Houston area. Over the decades, Shades of Texas has expanded into a multi-location, nursery supplier with two convenient locations. Our Houston growing wholesale operation is made up of staff who are passionate about what we do for a living: providing you with the absolute best quality, and the most unique landscaping products available. Not to mention, we offer customers a tremendous amount of plant knowledge, proven techniques to stimulate plant growth, and irrigation improvement applications that get results.
