Now is the time to plant a Redbud. It has these beautiful blooms each spring in pink to magenta to be followed by re-leafing with thick leathery leaves with wavy margins. Can grow to 15-20′ tall and 15-20′ wide. Does well in sun to partial sun and well drained soils.
Gigantea “leopard plant” or Ligularia
Brightly colored blooms and attractive glossy green leaves make this plant unique. Very low maintenance and grows best in fertile well drained soil. Works well near water or woodland settings. Can get 24″ h and 24-36 spread. Prefers part shade.
